Dr. Robert Colt earned his bachelor’s degree in medical science from the University of Colorado and his doctorate of dental sciences from the CU Health Science Center. Since starting his dental career in 2004, he has continued his education, becoming proficient in oral surgery, orthodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, and the treatment of craniofacial pain and sleep breathing disorders. His commitment to advanced technology allows him to provide top-tier care for his patients.
A Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain since 2008, Dr. Colt has taught dental techniques both nationally and internationally. He has held faculty positions at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. He is also a proud member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Orthodontic Society.
In 2013, Dr. Colt joined the U.S. Army, receiving a direct commission as a dentist in the Kansas Army National Guard. He completed his training at the AMEDD Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout his military service, he has held several positions, with his favorite being the triage officer for a mobile medical field support hospital at Fort Carson, Colorado. Currently, Lieutenant Colonel Colt serves as the State Dental Surgeon for the Colorado Army National Guard, where he is dedicated to ensuring the dental readiness of the Guard's soldiers..
